the internet is back

I will begin blogging once again. We now have Internet at the house again. We had shut it off to save some money as we thought we were getting ripped off. We waited for several months and got some bills paid off which is always good. Now we are back online and have found a plan that works for our needs. Shane and I have been busy working outside the last few weeks. We have been planting flowers and all sorts of fun stuff. I hope to post another entry and some pictures of the flowers in a couple of days. Well that is it for now.

no internet

Hi there, I hope everyone is doing well. I just wanted to make a small post on here. I won't be blogging very often as Shane and I have no internet at the house. We are trying to save a few pennies here and there to get more important items paid off. I will be checking my e-mail a couple times a week at my in laws so if you e-mail I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Today is numb

So I thought that title would be kind of funny because it is so close to dumb. Today I spent some time at the dentist and had my mouth numbed(hince the title). Last week I went in for a check up and they found I had a few teeth that needed to be fixed. One of the teeth was a major problem needing a root canal. This has been very frustrating to me because I try to take good care of my teeth. If someone was to just look at my teeth they might not think that because they are quite crooked beings I never got braces. Anyways I went in today and they did half of the root canal and then they will do the last half next Tuesday. I will be glad to get the whole thing over with. I could tell while I was there today that I had people praying for me and that the Lord was helping me. I get very nervous when going to the dentist. I have no problems going to the medical or eye doctor but have always had a hard time with the dentist. I believe part of this is because I had a bad dentist at one time in Nebraska. Also do to the fact that my mouth is so small it hurts to have even a cleaning done. One funny thing that I found out that helps me to better understand how my one tooth could get so bad. I was told that since my mouth is so small I need to always use a kids toothbrush. The adults ones won't work well at getting all the little areas in my mouth. I guess this means I can always be kid at heart. Or at least I can always have the cool character toothbrushes! :)

Longing for Spring

As I set in my living room and look outside I long for spring. I want to be outside working on landscaping my yard. We moved in this house the end of September and the yard had been very neglected . I have been looking forward to giving the yard and outside of the house some cottage character. It has been a mild winter here and I am very thankful for that. Now that it is almost March however I want to be outside. I know my doggies want to be outside more also they love playing out there. At the moment though it is a bit cold so in and out all day they go. I just need to think of all the positives of winter with the moisture and getting things done on the inside of the house and gathering with friends and family. These are the things that I do cherish this time of the year. So if you are having the spring itch remember the good things that you have during the cold part of the year.

A mop and some Clorox wipes

We have a new baby girl puppy named Roo. For some time now we had been thinking about getting Scooter a playmate. Recently he has become very needy. He lived at the humane society for seven months before we adopted him so he was use to other dogs being around. We felt that he was a little lonely and well a playmate would help with this. We had been thinking about getting a dachshund maybe a little older 1-3 years. Scooter is a mixed breed part lab and part Daschund. We had been checking the Eastern Montana humane society web page to see if they got any Daschunds in.Recently we noticed they had gotten a little boy daschund. Yesterday the Humane Society had a fundraiser at a local event center and they brought some of the animals to be adopted. We went and found out that the little daschund had already been adopted. We went on home and on the way there began talking about dogs. Shane told me that Since Scooter is a lot bigger than a normal Daschund maybe we should consider a bigger dog so that they could run and play together. We thought about it some more during lunch. After lunch we went back to the event. We found a little girl puppy who was shy, seemed like maybe she was the runt and she had a couple of ouchies. Shane picked her up and we knew she was coming home with us. Our new little girl we have named Roo(like the kangaroo on winnie the pooh). She is only three months old and so we will be doing a lot of training with her but it will be worth it. We have the mop and Clorox wipes on hand at all times. This part is a little hard for me being a clean freak! Roo is a mixed breed part Lab part Border Collie. We love animals and it is so nice to give one a home where they will be taken care of. People might think we are crazy to have two guinea pigs and two dogs but that's ok we love our animals anyway. I will try and post a few pictures of Roo sometime soon.

Thankful

Well I had another drama practice tonight . I am so thankful to be working with such a great group of students. Each practice I have walked away feeling like I have accomplished something and that is a great feeling. I love to teach the students about the different areas of theater(costumes, props, lights etc.) instead of just putting on a play and that is actually happening. I also like to teach them some basic drama terms and this is happening as well. I am very thankful to the Lord for blessing me with such a great group. I really needed that because I felt a little bit low in my self confidence going into this play. It has just shown me that this is a talent that the Lord has given me and that I need to use this talent for the Lord. I pray that I will be a good example to the students and let the Lord shine through me. Working on this play has also inspired me to get back to work on my scriptwriting. After I am done working at K-mart this next week I plan on trying to set time aside each day to write. Thank you friends and Family for your encouraging me to use the talents that the Lord has given me.

Answered Prayer

So after prayer and thought Shane and I feel we have our answer to my job situation. I went into K-mart yesterday to give my notice of resignation. I will be working there about two weeks longer. I must admit that I am already feeling some stress being taken away and that is a great feeling. On another note I have my second drama practice tonight and so I am very excited for that. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I hope to write more soon.
